Class content
This section will review the workflow involved with drawing and toolpathing 2D Signs with EnRoute Software, breaking down each of the steps involved and where to find the respective features in the EnRoute interface.
Draw Shapes, Text, Vectorizing, Point Editing, Import and Cleanup.
Cutting out Shapes, toolpathing methods for good edge quality and part hold down. Also how to use a combination of larger and smaller tools to get good detail.
Arranging shapes efficiently to reduce material waste and improve cut time.
3D Simulation to show what the cut part will look like and Backplot for reviewing Gcode prior to machine cutting.
Requirements
- This is a beginner course so everyone who is interested in learning the principles of EnRoute are welcome to the course.
- This is a live online virtual class held on Zoom, so you’ll need a computer with a mic and camera to fully participate.
- It is recommended that you have the most recent (V7) EnRoute software. We will provide a free trial for use during the class if needed.
