Course content
You will learn all the secrets of the text tools including text block, script weld, text on a path, text on an arc, as well as creating braille, bar codes, and QR codes.
You’ll learn everything you need to know about working with bit maps. You will explore the vectorization tools including auto trace, centerline trace, color trace, Bezier, and enhanced curves and corners. We will also cover how to add a contour cut to a bitmap without changing it to a vectored image.
Learn how to edit your vectored graphic with Flexi path edit tools. Learn how to edit points, straighten lines, round corners, and convert objects to preset shapes. This will take the mystery out of editing those points.
Flexi’s Production manager makes it easy to get your print and cut jobs from the computer to the printer and cutter. Learn how to use presets to quickly select profiles as well as printing and cutting conditions. We will show you how Production Manager’s finishing tools will allow you to quickly make banners with offsets and grommets. Print and cut graphics are easily sent with different cutting conditions based on the line color.
Requirements
- This is a beginner to intermediate course so everyone who is interested in learning the principles of Flexi as well as learn a few new techniques are welcome to the course
- This is a live online virtual class held on Zoom, so you’ll need a computer with a mic and camera to fully participate
- It is recommended that you have the most recent (V21) Flexi software. We can provide a 7-day demo license of Flexi 21 for anyone who would like to try the latest version after the class.
