True shape nesting is a feature that uses a more detailed nesting algorithm to fit even more objects into a specified area. Because it nests objects based on their actual shape, true shape nesting is able to pack shapes together much more closely than the standard nesting algorithm.

Auto Serialization is designed to create multiple copies of an object with a unique serial number on each copy. When using Auto Serialize, you will designate a character or line of text to be replaced with the serial number. Auto Serialization allows you to set a number of options to create serialized copies of text objects.

Variable Data Printing is printing of a set of documents with mostly shared elements, except for certain text, or images that change from document to document. Flexi VDP tool will let you design template with sample file, specify what element will be variable data, including images and then specify data to be used from data file. VDT supports images, regular test, QR code, Data Matrix, Barcode and Braille.

Flexi software has the ability to nest jobs together in order to minimize the amount of material needed to output the jobs. Nesting reorganizes the jobs on the output media so that they line up across the media width and pack into as compact an area as possible.

Job Properties presets allow you to save most Job Properties settings for a common type of job and reapply them in a single step.

This new tool allows you to design and save JIG templates that will precisely match the JIG on the printer bed for printing on multiple parts (e.g.: phone cases).

With Flexi’s banner and canvas finishing tools, you can dramatically reduce your time finishing pop-up banners, hanging banners and mounted signs. Using the tools, you can prepare all finishing aspects of banners, including grommet marks, folds, stitch marks and bleeds. This especially saves you finishing time on longer print runs where you would have manually marked grommet’s locations on each printed banner.

There are 2 different spot color mapping settings in Flexi. One deals with the input values of spot colors and how they will be interpreted. The other deals with the output values of spot colors and how they will be printed.
